
At eBillity we know one size doesn’t fit all. Whether you are a professional services company tracking time for client billing, a construction company tracking employee time at different job sites, or a payroll clerk reconciling employee time, you most likely track time differently. And because you track time differently we wanted to provide the same flexibility and enable users to be able to customize their dashboard to make it easier to access the features that are most important to you.
To try out the new dashboard toggle to “Dashboard Version” New, it is located in the upper right corner under the orange + Create button.
Customize your dashboard
Step 1: Configure Dashboard
Click on the settings icon to open the Dashboard Settings.
- To delete widgets from the dashboard, click on an “x” in the left-hand column.
- To add widgets to the dashboard, click on “+” in the right-hand column.
Note: you can add duplicate widgets except for the Set-up Wizard, Time Card, My Projects or My Shortcuts.
Once you have added the widgets you want to see on your dashboard click on the orange Save button at the bottom of the page.
Step 2: Prioritize Widgets in Your Dashboard
The widgets can easily be moved around in the dashboard so you can prioritize the order by importance to you. To move a widget select the heading and drag and drop it to the location you prefer, it is as easy as that!
Step 3: Accessing Short-Cuts
We have created shortcuts to make it even easier for you to access things like “manage my entries”. Hover to the right of the widget heading and three icons will appear.
- Click on the arrow to quickly link to the corresponding section.
- For reporting, click on the paper icon
- The X will remove the widget from your dashboard
