
Our team has been busy adding new features and would love to share them with you. The following features are now available with your Time Tracker subscription.
Ensure Project Profitability with Pay Rates
You can now setup employee pay rates. Paired with the existing functionality of setting billing rates; you can monitor profitability.
To add an employee pay rate, go to:
Admin > Manage Users > Click on User > Rate History > Add Rate

Create billing rates based off of a percentage of an employee’s pay rate
To add the same mark-up % for all users, go to:
Clients > Click on Client > Rates > Click on specific mark-up rates per user for this client > Set a default mark-up %
Alternatively, you may setup a different markup % per user. (see below)

Now that you have pay rates setup you can run a profitability report to view the margins between pay rates and billing rates.
To run report, go to: Home > Reports > Profitability
Other New Reports
In addition to the new profitability report we have also added:
Hours Report
The hours report includes all hours entered, including time off, paid breaks and regular time. You can run the report by worker group, worker, customers or service type, and you can specify a date range or have all time entered shown.
Summary Hours Report
This report is the summary version of the hours report showing only the totals.
New Scheduling Feature
We have added the ability to display the client and project on the employee’s shift. If there is no client assigned, only the duration will show.
Existing Integrations Updates
Restricting Salary Employees from Syncing Time
We now offer a setting to restrict the syncing of time entries coming from salaried employees.
For example, with ADP, To only sync time entries for hourly employees:
Click on ADP tab (or other tabs listed below) > Settings > Click Checkbox > Save
Salary restricted sync available for: ADP Run, ADP WFN Canada, Gusto, QBO, Xero UK and Canada, and MYOB.
